Lamborghini Temerario: The Successor to the Huracan
Lamborghini has confirmed the successor to the Huracan will be globally unveiled on August 16 at the Monterey Car Week. It will likely be called the Temerario (codenamed: 634), and is expected to be launched later this year.
Key Features of the Lamborghini Temerario
- Styling elements inspired by the Lamborghini Revuelto
- PHEV V8 to have a 10,000rpm redline
Lamborghini Temerario: Design
Recent spy shots have revealed the Temerario’s styling elements, which look inspired by the flagship Revuelto. It features Lamborghini’s signature grille with Y-motifs on the bumpers, lighting elements, and wheels. The headlamps appear more pronounced compared to the Revuelto. At the rear, the Temerario gets a high-mounted hexagonal exhaust tip and a pronounced rear diffuser that’s scooped out at the edges, exposing the rear wheels.
Lamborghini Temerario Powertrain
The Temerario will be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged PHEV V8 powertrain where the combustion engine will produce 800hp and 730Nm of torque – significantly more than the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10, even in its extreme STO form. The electric motor will be positioned between the combustion engine and the dual-clutch gearbox, producing an additional 150hp and 300Nm torque. The all-new powertrain, developed entirely in Sant'Agata, Italy, will have a 10,000rpm redline.
With the unveiling of the Lamborghini Temerario set for August 16, supercar enthusiasts are in for a treat as this new model promises innovative technology and exhilarating performance that aims to redefine the standards of luxury supercars.
